The Best Daddy in the world

I have the best daddy in the world. He has taught me so much in the last nine months. I am sad that he is back at work now. To start with I thought he was playing the 'going to work' game, but he didn't come back for hours and hours. I only go for 30 seconds when I play that game. He does take his keys and his bag and his lunch...just like me...but he takes a lot longer to come home.

Now I have to put up with Mummy. She's not as fast as Daddy and I'm not sure she knows all of the games to play. She does put me in the trolley at the supermarket...but it's not the same. I spend lots of time in the supermarket calling for DAddddddddyyyyyyyyyyy. Dadddddddyyyyyyyyy. But I can't find him anywhere.

Every time a car comes up our shared driveway I think Daddy might be home...I'm only lucky once a day.

He built me a swing trapeze thing! I think that it is lots of fun. Pooh likes to play on it too.

He taught me how to drink the best beer and even how to spot a Tui and gets beer from the fridge. I can say 'beer Daddy' and 'tui'. I can spot a Lion on a car and say 'grrr'. Daddy says they only have lions on the best cars.

He taught me lots of people's names...he has great techniques for doing this. Here is me learning
Aunty Chrissie's name. I'm looking forward to seeing her again at Xmas.

Daddy made me a poor man's slide. It is so much fun! I can climb up and slide down for ages and ages. Pooh likes to go on the slide too. Daddy even lets me ride my car down it (Mummy can't watch that...she says it freaks her out - she's a big scardy cat).

Dad used some of the same wood to make a car for Playcentre. He made it like Liam's favourite car! Red and fast!

I am going to miss Daddy at Playcentre...and so will lots of the mums. Dad is very good at building things for them.
Daddy also taught me how to sleep in a big girl's bed.

I will miss you lots Daddy. Thank you for all that you have done with me and taught me.

Love love me

PS I am looking forward to the baby coming out of Mummy's tummy. He has been having night nights in there for a very long time! I like to give him kisses and cuddles. I'm not sure how life will be when he arrives. Mum says that I will not get as much of her time and attention...but I always say please and then get what I want...right?
